Guilherme Decca

Founder & CEO

Guilherme Decca is the founder and CEO of VO2 Capital.

With more than 20 years of experience in Financial Markets building and ultimately running successful businesses as a Senior Executive on the buy and sell-side for leading Wall Street firms.

Most recently Decca was the President of Blue Helm Capital Management ($350mm Global Macro Fund), which was a spin-off from a successful proprietary business at Nomura Securities.

At Nomura, Decca was a Managing Director for both Nomura Prop and FX/Emerging Markets, where he helped build, manage and lead those divisions to profitability.

Decca has extensive experience in investment and risk management, product structuring (liquid and non-liquid assets) and leading complex projects and organizational structures.

In early 2018 Decca left Blue Helm to dedicate time to his family, Triathlon, to research further and build partnerships that would help form VO2 Capital.

Andre Ikeda

Partner

Andre is a founding partner of VO2.

Prior to VO2, Andre was a portfolio manager at Blue Helm Capital, a Global Macro Hedge Fund. At Blue Helm, Andre was responsible for all the activities pertaining to the macro book, from the generation of strategies to trading, risk, and liquidity management.

Prior to that, Andre spent 6 years as a Latam Rates and FX trader on the trading desks of Nomura New York and Standard Chartered Bank, both in New York and São Paulo. As a trader, Andre was responsible for managing the Latam books as well as trading fixed income products on behalf of the bank’s proprietary portfolios and transacting with buy-side and corporate clients. 

Before moving into trading, Andre has worked in the structured products desk of Lehman Brothers Brazil. 

Andre holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo.
