Research, value investing and wealth preservation. These are the pillars of our approach. Financial and Real Estate markets undoubtedly offer attractive opportunities but, at the same time, significant market and credit risk regardless of manager experience. VO2 capital goal is not only to pursue higher returns, but also make sure that the strategy is aligned with our client’s long term goals. Attractive returns with excessive risk-taking are not good investments in our opinion.

When looking into an investment we don't look only for the most attractive opportunities, our goal is to measure risk holistically delivering consistent risk-adjusted returns to our investors. A deal can be interesting on a stand-alone basis, but it makes no sense if it does not fit the client’s overall exposure and risk profile.

Most importantly, we always look at deals from a stakeholder perspective, not advisers only like most managers. The first hurdle is always: are we willing to invest our capital on the assets we are recommending?

Finally, we also avoid managed asset pools, as our experience shows that investors can replicate similar exposures without paying the extra fees charged by Hedge, Real Estate and Mutual funds.
